Common problems we fix

If it drips, sags, or overflows, we can fix it.

The details that decide whether a gutter system holds up to Northern Nevada snow loads, freeze-thaw cycles, and summer storms.

  • Sagging or pulling away

Loose or failed hangers let gutters drop and hold water. We re-secure them into solid fascia.

  • Leaking seams & corners

Separated joints and failed sealant drip behind the gutter. We reseal or replace the corner.

  • Overflow from poor pitch

Gutters that are level or back-pitched pool water. We re-pitch runs so water reaches the downspout.

  • Downspouts & leader heads

Clogged, loose, or undersized downspouts back up the system. We clear, re-attach, or resize them.

  • Rust, holes & cracks

Damaged sections of steel or aluminum are replaced with matching material.

  • Water stains & rot

Chronic drips show up as stained stucco or soft fascia. We fix the gutter so the damage stops.

Our process

What to expect.

Every job follows the same steps, from a free on-site estimate to final cleanup, so you always know what happens next.

  1. Step 1

    Inspect & diagnose

We check the whole system to find the root cause, not just the drip.

  2. Step 2

    Clean out

Debris is cleared so water can flow and we can see the damage.

  3. Step 3

    Repair

Leaks, hangers, pitch, and downspouts are fixed with durable materials.

  4. Step 4

    Test

We run water through the system to make sure everything drains before we leave.

Repair or replace? We’ll tell you honestly.

Many gutters just need a few fixes. If yours are undersized, rusted through, or failing in many places, a new seamless system often costs less over time. We’ll give you both options.

  • Copper gutter repair
  • Leaf guard repair and reinstallation
  • Downspout and leader head repair

Pricing

What affects the price of a gutter repair.

Repairs are quoted after we find the cause. These are the factors that change the cost:

  • Number of problem spots

One leaking corner costs less than several sagging runs.

  • Height & access

Second-story and steep-lot repairs take more setup.

  • Parts needed

Hangers, corners, end caps, outlets, and downspout sections.

  • Fascia condition

Soft or rotted fascia has to be addressed before gutters can hold.

  • Re-pitching

Re-hanging a run to correct its slope takes more labor than a reseal.

  • Cleanout

Packed gutters are cleared first so the damage can be found.

FAQ

Gutter Repair questions

Why is water dripping behind my gutter?

Usually the gutter has pulled away from the fascia, or water is running behind the back edge because the drip edge is missing. Both can be fixed without replacing the gutter.

Can you repair gutters another company installed?

Yes. We repair most residential and commercial gutter systems, whoever installed them.

Is it worth repairing old gutters?

If the gutters are the right size and mostly sound, repair is usually the better value. If they leak in many places or are rusted through, replacement is often cheaper over time.

Can overflowing gutters damage my foundation?

Yes. Water dumped next to the house soaks the soil along the foundation, which can lead to cracks, settling, and moisture problems. Fixing gutter drainage is one of the cheapest ways to prevent that.

Can a gutter be re-pitched without replacing it?

Usually, yes. If the gutter itself is sound, we remove the hangers, reset the run so it slopes toward the downspout, and re-fasten it into solid fascia.

Why do my downspouts overflow at the top?

The downspout is usually clogged at the outlet or an elbow, or it’s too small for the amount of roof draining into it. We clear the clog, and if it keeps happening, we upsize the downspout or add another one.

Can you fix gutters damaged by snow and ice?

Yes. Snow slide and ice can bend gutters and pull hangers loose. After winter we re-secure or replace damaged sections, and we can add hangers at closer spacing so the run holds up to the next snow.

How much does gutter repair cost?

It depends on how many spots need work, how high they are, and what parts are needed. We quote the repair after finding the cause, and show you the cost of replacement too if it’s close.
