Why choose Battle Born Gutters
What is the real purpose of rain gutters?
Picture rain pouring on a roof without gutters. Where would the rainwater end up? Directly on the soil that surrounds your house. You might not feel the gravity of missing gutters now, but wait until these consequences occur:
What happens without gutters
This is why it’s so important to choose a reliable company like Battle Born Gutters to inspect your gutters and safely replace what’s needed.
- Water starts pooling and leaks into your basement
- Soil erosion ruins your landscape
- Siding gets damaged
- Your stone masonry gets stained
- Mold grows from water getting into the house
The components of a gutter system
- Gutter section: the horizontal gutter material that attaches to your home, made of materials from vinyl to copper to aluminum.
- Downspout: an enclosed pipe, cylindrical or rectangular, that runs from the gutter section to the base of your house.
- Hangers: the support systems of gutters, including standard, heavy-duty, and K-style hangers.
- Gutter guards: typically stainless steel screens that keep leaves, nests, and twigs from clogging your gutters.
- Extensions: attached to the end of the downspout to empty water into an area away from your foundation.
5 reasons to choose Battle Born Gutters
- Rain gutters protect your foundation. Over time, roof runoff and snowmelt erode the foundation, leaving damage that is very expensive to fix.
- Rain gutters protect your paint. Mineral-heavy rainwater can mold, crack, and discolor fascia boards and side walls.
- Rain gutters keep icicles from forming over your entryway, where one falling icicle can cause major injury.
- Rain gutters divert water away from concrete walkways, reducing ice build-up and the chance of falls, especially for elderly family members.
- Leaf guards keep your gutters flowing without obstructions, so you never have to get on a ladder and upkeep drops to almost none.
